"Christmas Morning"
Warm reds and golds bleed across the frame, Christmas lights blurring and blooming over the silhouette of a boy on a spring riding horse, the two images fused together in a double exposure that makes reality feel slightly out of reach. The subject is there — present, dominant — and yet not quite. Obscured just enough to feel like a memory trying to surface. A childhood moment caught halfway between the tangible and the imagined.
There is something quietly eerie about this image. The warmth of Christmas and the strangeness of a dream, pressed together in a single frame from the 1950s and preserved ever since.
Some photographs show you what was. This one shows you how it felt.
