The Cove
December 1965, and somewhere along the wild California coastline, two ancient rock faces part just enough to let the ocean in. Deep blue water churns through the narrow channel between them, white foam catching on the rocks below, before opening out to the full Pacific beyond - scattered sea rocks dotting the horizon like punctuation at the end of a very long sentence. It is the kind of place that feels like it has always existed just beyond the edge of the map, untouched and unhurried, doing what it has done for ten thousand years without any help from anyone. The Cove is a print for people who feel most themselves when the land runs out and the ocean takes over.
