In 1964, getting to the mountain looked like this.

A white school bus emblazoned with "Ski Breckenridge" sits in a snow dusted parking lot, vintage cars scattered around it, the mountain rising in the background. Someone has climbed up onto the roof to load the skis. A small crowd waits patiently below, unhurried and completely at ease.
