Coast in the Clear
From somewhere high above the California shoreline, the whole picture opens up at once - golden cliffs curving down to a rocky beach, white surf tracing the waterline in long lazy arcs, and the Pacific stretching out to the horizon in every shade of blue it knows how to make. It is the kind of view that makes you pull over, get out of the car, and just stand there for a while. Whoever took this slide clearly did exactly that, and we are all the better for it. Coast in the Clear is California at its most itself - wide open, a little wild, and completely impossible to look away from.
